Lilly Springer

I’m an Assistant Professor in the departments of economics and health studies at American University. 

My research interests lie at the intersection of health, family, and gender economics. Specifically, I am interested in topics surrounding maternal and reproductive health including:

• External factors influence on pregnancy

• Downstream effects of changes in abortion policy

• Parents change in healthcare use post childbirth

Beyond my research, I am passionate about peer mentorship and diversifying the field of economics.
